Celebrating the imagination
Imagination. Sometimes it’s a bolt from the blue. Sometimes it’s a slow burn. Sometimes it’s a big idea that changes the world. Sometimes it’s a small idea that makes life easier. Always, it’s transformational. Imagination Fort Worth sparks the imaginations of Texas kids through transformational experiences. Over the past 25 years, more than five million students have participated in our programs—programs that combine the creative thrill of the arts with the critical educational goals outlined by local and state guidelines. Through art, dance, music, and theater, students engage with history, science, math, and language in ways that enhance learning and awaken creativity.
Who we are
Imagination Fort Worth is an independent non-profit organization sponsored by generous gifts from organizations including The City of Fort Worth, The Texas Commission on the Arts, The Texas Education Agency, The Arts Council of Fort Worth, and the ARTS Council Northeast as well as numerous private foundations, corporations, and individuals. We partner with local and surrounding schools to create curriculum and develop field trips and in-school programs that target specific educational needs, as well as with local arts and cultural institutions to introduce students to a diversity of mind-opening experiences.
