Imagination Fort Worth Presents the 2nd Annual Imagination 60 Special Event

Imagination Fort Worth, a local non-profit providing innovative educational arts programs to thousands of Fort Worth students since 1989, presents Imagination 60, at The Live Oak Music Hall & Lounge. This exceptional Arts Event/Fundraiser will feature live performances by 30 + different performers, each demonstrating their special skills, talents and craft in just 60 seconds.
Lauri Bevan, Executive Director of Imagination Fort Worth says, “This fast-paced showcase will offer a unique evening of the unexpected, as Fort Worth’s finest performers, visual artists, dancers, singers, musicians, poets, comedians, storytellers and community leaders take to the stage.”
Imagine a drummer pounding out an exhilarating beat, an opera singer singing multiple arias in rapid succession, a community leader cracking a Cowtown whip, or reciting an evocative monologue with an unexpected message, an exotic belly dancer spinning in hypnotic rhythmic circles, an actor attempting to remove 60 shirts in 60 seconds, a magician presenting a shocking optical illusion, or a comedian igniting uncontrollable laughter… Who are these talented individuals? More details about the event: The event starts at 5 PM on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at The Live Oak Music Hall & Lounge, 1311 Lipscomb Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76104; performances begin at 6 PM. Tickets are $40.00 each and go on sale March 1, 2017; advanced purchase is encouraged as seating is limited. Adding to the fun will be a raffle of items from local merchants, benefitting Imagination Fort Worth. The Live Oak will offer food and drink specials for the evening. The emcee for the evening will be Andy Taft, president of Downtown Fort Worth Inc. Honorary Committee Co-Chair is artist, Nancy Lamb.
